Went for lunch here earlier without a booking, staff took contact details and all tables were being sanitized which is good to see. Sat outside and ordered crab claws each... read more which were perfect, could not fault at all - we had to order another portion to share afterwards as they were too nice. Good atmosphere & very friendly staff.

We visited on our last night at Dingle and whilst we did not have a booking the staff were really helpful in finding us a spot.
The service was... read more great our waitress very friendly and managed to give Chef my details to pass on the recipe for the Seafood Chowder (To Die For)
When ordering my bottle of wine I was able to taste both types of Sauvignon Blanc with the New Zealand one winning.
Hoping you will keep to your promise and send me this on.
We stayed our allocated time all COVID 19 rules followed.
My son raved about the Louisiana Chicken Wings, and I had the perfect fish and chips with all the trimmings.
Perfect end to a most amazing week in Dingle. Thank you so much.

Couldnt fault anything about our 2 evenings in James Longs. We came as a family group and after eating here the first night we decided to book in again for... read more a second evening. Crab claws and their sauce are amazing, whoever didnt get them the first night ordered them the second night. Steak was enjoyed by all who ordered it (its hard not to go for surf and turf), the prawns with it were the nicest iv had....the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We felt at home. We didnt want to leave. Dont leave Dingle without giving it a go.

For a takeaway the food was okay.
I had the lamb tagine, which had 5 minuscule pieces of lamb but otherwise tasted good.
Burgers were on the bland side

My husband and I had high hopes for this restaurant as it came highly recommended. However, it didn’t take long for our hopes to fade. Small restaurant and we were... read more seated by the door, which would have been ok if the loud techno music wasn’t right above our table. Warm white wine and lousy tasting beer (usually from not cleaning the taps). How can you serve lousy beer in Ireland?? My husband ordered the fish chowder, which was horrible so he didn’t eat it. I had the fish and chips, which was bland, but I ended up eating it anyway, but smothered in fresh lemon. We paid our bill and ended up going elsewhere so my husband didn’t go without dinner. Wait staff? With the exception for one lovely waitress, the others couldn’t care less about what was going on. I’ve had some amazing fish and chips in Ireland and will write about one of the best I had in Kinsale. This experience and meal was the worst! This restaurant is running on it’s name and chasing the tourists. Want a good meal in Dingle? Go elsewhere!
