Good food & friendly staff but feel charging extra for coffee is a bit of a rip off! Breakfast for €10 is an average price but honestly think a coffee... read more should be included instead of adding an extra €3 for each one! It was pelting rain so you have a few coffees but get real! No need to whack on all the extras and take the good out if it, would not recommend for this reason.

Five star service, atmosphere and food. The separate booths are ideal under current circumstances. Fabulous menu. Highly recommend the crab claws, steak, Thai curry (spicy!) and chicken wings. The desserts... read more were fabulous too.

We went to this restaurant and the staff are amounst the worst Ive seen in a restaurant. Some common decency training required. Its not difficult to be polite to customers

The service we received here was very good. However I ordered the vegan burger which is listed on the menu as ‘vegan bean burger’ and firstly, it is not a... read more bean burger so this needs to be changed on the menu. Secondly, it was far too similar to actual beef which I did not enjoy. I asked the waiter to double check that it was a vegan burger and she informed me that everyone always questions it, so I think that is a good enough sign that it needs to be replaced or at least updated on the menu to state that it is a ‘beyond meat soya burger’.

Very friendly service even though a little slow. Food was very tasty. We both had beyond burgers. They were very accommodating with requests. Would return.

Very busy spot facing the Dingle Harbour, so there's always a demand here. The food is very good and very consistent. The experience of going here can be a very... read more mixed affair. Have been at both lunch time and in the evening (the evening being the busier of our two times eating there), the lunch service seems to be more hit and miss. The evening service was wonderful, very friendly staff. Our server was very skilled at her job, able to deal with multiple customers, very fast, efficient, knowledgeable about the menu and full of interaction. The bar staff were chatty and friendly also, despite being a busy evening. We walked to the door and despite the bustle, were quickly seated and attended to.
On returning for lunch a few days later, I can say we honestly considered just going elsewhere. As before, there's a sign outside saying "Please wait to be seated", reasonable in a busy tourist town where there's a demand for food and tables. Two servers were traipsing around, not in any effort to rush themselves, could clearly see us and others standing outside and, despite there being very few tables inside occupied at the time, they largely ignored us for quite some time. No acknowledgement of our presence or even a simple " I'll be with you shortly". It was at this point we considered just leaving. A very disinterested young waitress eventually found the energy to stroll over to us and ask if we wanted to sit outside, to which we replied no, that's we'd like to sit inside. She walked away before listening to our answer and, having ignored this response, went to clean an outside table for us anyway. After explaining again that we wished to sit inside, she brought us inside, somewhat disgruntled, and seated us in the largely empty indoor space, at a table we couldn't fit at. She then strolled away and both she and her other colleague continued to listlessly stroll around, actively ignoring customers and interacting as little as possible. I saw some of the elderly folks who had been standing behind us just leave because they were being ignored. Thankfully, a different waitress arrived and moved us to a table with some more space, took our order and brought out our food - again, very tasty and good quality. The woman who served us was very pleasant and friendly and also very efficient. She also didn't seem to be interacting with the other two very much and had the look of someone who was vexed from picking up the slack for her workmates. We left her a good tip for her efforts and I hope it went directly into her pocket alone and didn't have to be shared with the others, who never again even made eye contact with us or any of the other customers sitting inside for the duration or our meal..
As I said, the food is good and consistent, but the service seems to be hit and miss. Hopefully anyone heading here will meet the friendly and more efficient staff members. And, yes, I know this reads "entitled", but as someone who works in public service and spent many years in bar work myself while in college, I know how hard and demanding the work is, especially in a town like Dingle which is bombarded with tourists. It's not an easy job and people have become more difficult to deal with, especially since lockdown lifted, but I feel at minimum, to at least acknowledge customers would be a starting point for most staff in a business.

We had 2 absolutely fantastic meals at this lovely seaside pub, the food is very imaginative, a lot of thought and creativity seems to go into their menu, the staff... read more are absolutely brilliant, really efficient warm and friendly, it can’t be easy to run a food business in these times, what with checking certs and dealing with indoor and outdoor dining, these guys have it sussed, there on top of the situation in what can only be described as exceptionally professional and efficient, I would one hundred percent recommend this place for food/drink when visiting Dingle

Our group was 6 adults and 2 kids and we cannot compliment the... read more staff of Longs Bar on how they handled everything... it was extremely busy and they were dealing with walk ins, bookings, drinks and food orders while maintaining social distancing to perfection.. we were given a table upstairs inside window with magnificent view of Dingle Harbour.. the menu on offer was excellent, and our food was outstanding from starter to dessert.
